However,<\/p>\n<h2><b>Causes<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Why do people commit violence acts?<\/li>\n<li>What are possible\u00a0biological, cognitive and socio-cultural explanations of violence?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Effects <\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Why are the physiological effects of experiencing violence?<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Why does bystanderism occur?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Solutions <\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>How can we apply psychological concepts to reduce violence?<\/li>\n<li>Why is the traditional prison system largely ineffective in reducing recidivism rates of violence crime?<\/li>\n<li>To what extent is one other strategy effective in reducing violence? <em>(e.g. improving the prison system; the Sabido method in media; Education; long-term strategies to reduce domestic violence, etc.).<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Essential\u00a0Research (Studies and Theories)<\/h2>\n<p>You are free to go beyond the range of major research listed below. In your projects you\u00a0are recommended to at least begin by consulting and using these studies and theories; this is definitely the easier approach for you.
